1. Treetop Walk at Holden Arboretum

Not that Ohio was lacking for cool hiking trails, but one of the state’s largest botanical gardens just opened a new trail – ABOVE the trees! Remember the thrill of climbing a tree as a kid? Find that same sense of adventure and wonder atop the Holden Arboretum Treetop Walk. The walk, open April – October, is 500 feet long and 65 feet above the forest floor. 2. Cleveland Toboggan Chutes

Call it Ohio’s “winter roller coaster” – the chilly ride down the toboggan chutes at Mill Stream Run Reservation in Strongsville provides an exhilirating thrill. The 70-foot vertical drop and 40-50 miles-per-hour adventure lasts only 6.5 seconds, but memories will be solidified quickly!
