Carter Historic Farm is a living history cultural center interpreted to the 1930s. There is an 1890s schoolhouse on the property. Cultural Heritage programming and community events are great opportunities to step into history. The location is free and open to the public. This property is on a conservation easement and protected from development in perpetuity. A 20-acre wetland is being created on the property for environmental restoration of native plant and wildlife habitat.
