A one-room schoolhouse that is in perfect condition and contains items representing the American educational system of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.The red brick building, which houses an extensive collection of educational artifacts, was originally built in Norwalk Township, Huron County, Ohio, in 1875. It held eight grades in one room and closed its doors in 1938. The building was moved to BGSU campus where it proudly stands and provides visitors a step-back-in-time experience. The Schoolhouse is open to visitors on weekends from 2-5 p.m. or by appointment.
