About Troy Hayner Cultural Center
This gorgeous, Norman Romanesque Revival styled mansion was built in 1914 by Mary Jane Hayner, whose husband owned the Hayner Distillery Company. Sitting adjacent to the county courthouse, it is the arts and cultural center of the community. Most Americans would call it “Tudor”, noting its wood and stucco exterior, leaded glass windows, marble fire places, carved wood trim and elegant ballroom. A converted gallery space offers exhibitions year round.
