Versailles Poultry Days, June 9-11 (Versailles)
This annual chicken festival features arts and crafts, a flower show, egg decorating contests, a talent show, a grand parade, fireworks and more! Spend your weekend outdoors with a 5K run, bike tour, golf scramble and softball and ultimate disk tournaments. Poultry Days has an activity for everyone in the family, as well as excellent food vendors.
Pork Rind Heritage Festival, June 9-10 (Harrod)
This Allen County festival features creative ways to prepare and eat pork rinds. The two-day event includes live music, a Cruise-In Car Show, a 5K run and walk, and a parade. Rudolph Foods, the festival’s corporate sponsor, donates their famous pork rinds for this annual event.
92nd Annual Old Fashioned Strawberry Festival, June 10 (Shandon)
One of Butler County’s most popular festivals, this summer celebration includes an antique tractor show, refreshments, traditional Welsh harp music and local vendors and artists. Check out the historical shops selling country crafts, pottery and furniture, and enjoy the fresh strawberry dishes like homemade shortcakes and ice cream.
Chili & Wing Cook Off on the Miracle Mile, June 10 (Mansfield)
Listen to live blues music, and sample chili and wings in Mansfield, Ohio! Judge the contestants in the cook off and join in on the beach cornhole tournament. Local food vendors include Old Carolina BBQ, Slab Daddys BBQ, pizza and other food trucks. Musicians include the Jimi Vincent Band, Walk It Off and more. Don’t miss this food and music filled festival!
Tater Tots and Beer Festival, June 11 (Columbus)
This delicious festival is coming to Columbus Commons! Sample dozens of domestic, imported and craft beers and baskets of unique tater tot creations. Fill up your beer passport as you try each drink, and hang out in downtown Columbus. You can even bring your dog to this pet-friendly event.
Grecian Food Festival, June 13-16 (Steubenville)
This festival in Steubenville has surprised visitors’ taste buds for over 25 years. Try the gyros and loukoumades in the outdoor shops, and venture inside the nearby church to visit other food vendors. Greek-themed souvenirs, t-shirts and mugs will also be available. The festival also features live entertainment from the nationally-recognized Greek Company Orchestra and traditional dancers.
