Ohio is known for wildly different types of cuisines, from barbecue to pizza to ice cream to fresh fruits and vegetables. This summer, go to one of Ohio’s food festivals and taste everything the state has to offer! Jungle Jim’s International Craft Beer Festival, June 16-17 (Fairfield)

The Jungle Jim’s International Beer Fest is one of the largest and longest-running beer festivals in the area. More than 400 beers from 100 different breweries will be available to sample. Then, you can head upstairs and buy your favorites to take home. Experts will be on-site to answer your questions.

Festival of the Fish, June 16-18 (Vermilion)

Head to downtown Vermilion for a weekend of free entertainment, games, fireworks, a grand parade and more! This annual festival includes a fishing tournament, delicious food and a marketplace. You and your friends or family can also participate in a sand building competition and enjoy a lighted boat parade.

Grove City Wine & Arts Festival, June 16-17 (Grove City)

This festival draws 30,000 wine and art enthusiasts from across the state of Ohio. Try the unique wines from participating wineries and view creative works from talented artists. A shuttle service will run on the day to help visitors reach the festival.

Boogie on the Bricks, June 17 (Athens)

This annual festival combines art, music and great food into a one-day community celebration. Dance in the streets, visit the local vendors and enjoy craft and domestic beer, along with great food vendors. This event also partners with non-profits to create a zero-waste festival, so you can keep your environmental impact to a minimum while still enjoying the festivities.

National Road Bike Show & Ribfest, June 17 (Cambridge)

Enjoy this annual bike festival in downtown Cambridge, which is one of the fastest growing bike shows in the area. Listen to live music, and enjoy delicious barbecue and beer. Then, participate in raffles and enjoy shopping the vendors.

Batter Up Father’s Day Barbecue, June 18 (North Canton)

This one-day food event celebrates fathers and baseball! Attend this brunch buffet with a tasty variety of barbecue and grilled meats, and then cheer on your team in a vintage baseball game between the Akron Black Stockings and the Smithville Stars. Enjoy this day of all-American fun and give your father the gift of fun-filled time and memories!
