The Blade Holiday Parade, Nov. 16

21st Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony – Easton Town Center, November 22
After shopping for all of your holiday gifts, celebrate the start of the festive season at Easton’s Holiday Lighting Ceremony! Meet Santa and watch the lighting of the 56-foot digital Christmas tree for a night you won’t forget. Start a new favorite family tradition and gather all of your loved ones to watch the holiday parade!
Memories of Christmas Past – Arms Family Museum, November 23-January 5
Bask in the glow of the soft embers of the fires and marvel at the Christmas trees in the Arms Family Museum. You might even be able to take some décor inspiration for your own home!
Hometown Holiday Horse Parade, November 23
Watch in awe as beautiful horse-drawn carriages decked out in shimmering lights, jingle through Historic Downtown Greenville at the Hometown Holiday Horse Parade! Stay a while to shop, sip and play as many downtown stores and restaurants remain open late and enjoy the jolly melodies of carolers and bell choirs as they prepare for Santa’s visit!
Ashland Railway Polar Xpress and Moments of Christmas Magic, November 24
The fun and magic of the season is everywhere at the Ashland Railway Polar Xpress and Moments of Christmas Magic! Meet Christmas characters, Santa and Mrs. Claus, watch ice sculpting, and pet live reindeer! The entire family can enjoy raffles, hot cocoa and giveways, all in anticipation of the arrival of the Polar XPress.
Hayes Train Special, November 29-January 5
A holiday staple at the Hayes Presidential Library and Museums, this display of model trains winding through a winter wonderland transports visitors to the days of President Rutherford B. Hayes. Blow the train whistle, operate the Ferris wheel and more through a variety of interactive buttons. A favorite for years, the Hayes Train Special attracts families from near and far. You can’t miss this unique glimpse into the past!
Marion Train and Toy Show, November 30
The annual Marion Train and Toy Show is back and featuring hundreds of model trains and displays from dozens of collectors. Watch your little ones light up with amazement as trains choo-choo around the winding track. You’ll meet plenty of experts who will be happy to assist in helping you find the perfect gift for your little conductor-to-be.
Polar Express Train Excursion, December 6-8 & 13-15
Hop aboard the Polar Express in Dennison as it heads toward the North Pole! Dress in your comfiest pajamas and follow along as storytellers read this classic tale aloud. The Christmas spirit increases as you head north, and all will enjoy songs, games, and activities while sipping on hot chocolate and snacking on treats. But that’s not all – you’ll see Santa in his workshop, and each child will receive their own special jingle bell.
Downtown Logan Christmas Parade, December 7
What do floats, marching bands and horses all have in common? All together they make for the most festive holiday celebration at the Logan Christmas Parade! A true holiday parade isn’t complete without a bow from Santa, who concludes the show. Your little ones can visit with Mr. Claus afterwards in Worthington Park and don’t miss the Holiday Treasure Hunt – guaranteed to deliver unique tokens and collectibles for everyone on your list!
Christmas in Zoar, December 7-8
Celebrate excitement and joy this holiday season during Christmas in Zoar. Seasonal tunes, a craft show, and tours of the village are just a few of the fun activities planned! You can even take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage or attend a candlelight church service at the Historic Zoar Meeting House.
Christmas Candlelighting in Roscoe Village, December 7 & 14
Join in the celebration at Roscoe Village as they celebrate start of the season with their Christmas Candlelighting! Held on the Village’s Main Stage, watch the 30-foot Christmas tree as it’s beautifully illuminated! Go back in time and tag along on the “Roscoe Christmas Lantern Tour,” where you will learn how Christmas was celebrated in the 1800s and hear tales of timeless holiday traditions.
