The Canal Museum in Middletown, Ohio is located on the route of the Miami-Erie Canal, which was operational from 1825 to 1929. Constructed in 1982, the Canal Museum’s current display features the Miami-Erie Canal and the early industry of Middletown. The museum is open Sunday afternoons in the summer and by appointment only.
