Immerse yourself in nature as you explore this 334-acre reservoir nestled among nearly 1,000 acres of forest. Tucked into the northeast corner of Stark County, Deer Creek Reservoir is a rustic oasis for fishing, boating, bird watching, and picnicking. Impressive trees create a canopy over popular fishing nooks and a spacious picnic area right on the water. Bring your bike or hiking boots because this park also serves as a trailhead for the 4.46 mile Mahoning Valley Trail. You may catch sight of bald eagles, osprey, and migrating waterfowl along the shore, or white-tailed deer and coyote in the forested areas surrounding the reservoir. Canoes and kayaks welcome! Other boats must use electric motors only.
