About Observatory Park

The unique features of Observatory Park provide opportunities for exploring nature from the ground to the galaxies. Buildings, trails and special exhibit featuresradiate from the central plaza. The Oberle Observatory houses the Oberletelescope, as well as weather and seismic stations with live data displayed on computer screens visible from outside the observatory. The Robert McCullough Science Center includes a planetarium for presenting educational and entertaining shows about astronomy and the night sky, as well as a venue for public programs and events. The Park is open daily 6AM to “ 11PM for access to trails and outdoor interpretive features. Building hours vary through the seasons. www.geaugaparkdistrict.org
