About Sippo Lake Park

Hike, bike, fish, and paddle at Sippo Lake Park! Trails line the shoreline, loop through the wetlands and forests, and connect three different park entrances. Plenty of options for self-guided activities and an exciting destination for a full day of fun. This great escape is located right between Canton and Massillon. At the Sippo Lake Marina inside Sippo Lake Park-East (5300 Tyner St. NW, Canton 44708) you can rent a boat to explore the lake and buy live bait, tackle, and snacks from May to October! Enjoy a accessible fishing pier and boat ramp nearby. The Exploration Gateway at Sippo Lake Park-North (5712 12th St. NW, Canton 44708) is a center of nature, culture, and life-long learning, created through a unique partnership with the Stark County District Library. FeLeap’s Lily Pad Gift Shop sells a unique variety of nature-oriented, locally-made products, gifts, and birding supplies. The Congressman Ralph Regula Canalway Center depicts the history of how the Ohio & Erie Canal influenced Stark County’s growth and success. Admission is free. A playground is also located near the lower parking lot and trail entrance. The Wildlife Conservation Center at Sippo Lake Park-West (800 Genoa Ave. NW, Massillon 44646) features outdoor enclosures with non-releasable wildlife ambassadors that permanently live at the center. A multi-purpose trail connects the center to the rest of the park and several natural surface trails. Admission to the center is free.
