The Sistersville-Fly Ferry has made the journey back and forth across the Ohio River since 1817. It takes about eight minutes to make that journey but it will transport you much further back in time. Continuous ferry service at this same location has provided a crucial link between West Virginia and Ohio since shortly after Monroe County was established and long before West Virginia became a state. Today, it is one of only four remaining ferryboats on the entire length of the Ohio River.Passage Rates: Walk-ons: $ 1.00Motorcycles: $ 3.00Cars & Small Trucks: $ 4.00Pull Trailers: add $ 2.00Dump Trucks & Small Tankers: $ 8.00Semi-Trucks: $18.00
