The Steubenville/Jefferson County Visitors Center as part of the Ohio River Scenic Byway provides travel information about the various byways and attractions in Ohio as well as visitor information for Steubenville and Jefferson County. You can find a driving tour of the larger-than-life Murals, a map of the Historic Churches, and visitor guides to dining, shopping, and attractions as well as genealogy information from the knowledgeable staff. Customized tours can be arranged of the Murals, Dean Martin’s Hometown, or rural scenic roads in the county.Located in Fort Steuben Park, the beautiful Visitors Center welcomes travelers to tour Historic Fort Steuben in season, enjoy the changing displays in the Exhibit Hall and browse in the Museum Shop. The Park is also the site of the Nutcracker Village and Advent Market, a holiday attraction (mid-November to mid-January) based on the classic ballet.The Steubenville/Jefferson County Visitors Center is open daily except for holidays; closed weekends from November through April.
