About Tecumseh Point Preserve

A walk along this paved interpretive trail will lead visitors to the historically significant confluence of Greenville and Mud Creeks called Tecumseh Point. Here Chief Tecumseh burned fires from 1805-1808 in peaceful protest of the Treaty of Greene Ville which opened the Northwest Territory to settlement.This important piece of Darke County's past was donated to the Park District by Shrader's Inc.
