About The Crabill Homestead

One of the few late Federal style homes in the state open for public use, the Crabill House provides an authentic representation of an early nineteenth century home. Constructed by David and Barbara Crabill sometime between 1821 and1826, the home was occupied by the Crabill family until the early 20th century. After standing empty for many years, the house was acquired by the Clark County Historical Society and underwent major renovations to stabilize and preserve the structure. This beautiful home is well worth a visit.
