March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day, and Ohio is in no shortage of green-themed celebrations. Strap on your best shamrock gear and head to your closest Ohio city. From parades to musical performances to wine tastings, these are some of the best St. Patrick’s Day events in Ohio:

Columbus: St. Patrick’s Food and Wine at Wyandotte Winery

This casual dinner on March 16th kicks off a weekend of Irish festivities. Try the St. Patrick’s themed menu and try a few glasses of Wyandotte Winery’s best wines.

2. Cleveland: Saint Patrick’s Day Parade

This celebration gets up to 500,000 spectators and features floats, Irish dancers, high school marching bands and lots and lots of bagpipes. 3. Springfield: Danu’: St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

This traditional Irish ensemble features sell-out, high-energy performances in Ireland. For over two decades, they’ve performed around the world and recorded seven albums. On March 11, Danu’ will be performing in Springfield at the Clark State Performing Arts Center.

4. West Chester: Shamrock Shuffle

On March 18, West Chester will be hosting its Shamrock Shuffle. But this 5K and 10K run doesn’t fit the usual bill; this race includes an Irish-themed block party complete with kegs and eggs. Wear your brightest green and see how you match up to the other athletes!

5. Dublin: St. Patrick’s Celebration

Dublin, Ohio, is hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on March 18. This year will kick-off with a Pancake Breakfast, followed by a parade through Historic Dublin. Afterwards, check out the local stores, watch live entertainment, and drink a green beer all while enjoying “the greenest day of the year.”
