TourismOhio has launched a new campaign to support Ohio’s local businesses. The Support Local Ohiocampaign encourages consumers to buy from Ohio tourism industry businesses that have been so greatly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
TourismOhio is looking to promote this integrated campaign through paid, earned and social media which sends visitors to the new Support Local Ohio microsite. The microsite features businesses from listings on Ohio.org. You can create or update your listing by going to www.Ohio.org/industry/database.
The Support Local Ohio microsite offers links to local restaurants, retailers and attractions which Ohioans are encouraged to monetarily support through carryout, online orders, gift card purchases and more. The site also features fun and educational virtual reality tours for thrill-seekers, nature lovers, art and culture enthusiasts, and families.
Future additions to the campaign will include the promotion of "Heroes and Innovators". These are the Ohio organizations displaying innovation and support during the COVID-19 crisis. Please help us discover Ohio’s heroes and innovators by using this form to tell us what your organization or another in your community is doing.
