Ohio. Find It Here. has a new commercial that will be on air starting Monday! This is the first time we will have paid TV in the Fall season. Given Ohio’s relevance as a year-round travel destination, Fall paid advertising support has been part of the media plan the past two years, but this marks the first time that broadcast support is included. The flight begins Monday, August 21. Viewers will take note of a similar tone and feel as the original commercial, along with the same voice-over and same arresting music, “Lucky” by Kat Edmonson, which has become a distinctive brand asset. The spot features vivid and vibrant Fall footage from Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, Tree Frog Canopy Tours, National Museum of The United States Air Force, Circleville Pumpkin Show and HighBall. It will be on air through September 10 in our standard broadcast markets which include Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Detroit, Lima, Pittsburgh, Toledo and Youngstown. Broadcast networks include ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and CW. Cable networks include AMC, Animal Planet, BRAVO, Discovery Channel, ESPN, Food Network, FOX Sports Ohio, FX, FXNC, HGTV, History Channel, Spike, TBS, TNT, Travel Channel, USA Network. Click here to watch the new Fall commercial before it debuts on Monday!

Television is just one place you’ll find the brand advertised – other core advertising support that extends the messaging this Fall includes digital display, native advertising, video pre-roll, connected TV, paid social, print and paid search.

Many co-op partners recently participated in the August issues of Group Tour and Student Group Tour, as well as the upcoming September/October issue of Midwest Living magazine. Partners are also involved with paid search, digital, Pandora advertising and eBlasts.

The media flow chart below reflects the advertising tactics and flighting of the core and co-op media plans through the end of 2017.
