Ohio Tourism Day 2020 Booth Applicants

Thinking about applying to participate in this year’s Ohio Tourism Day? Don’t wait, apply today! Here are some basic details and information you’ll need to know before submitting your application.

2020 Evaluation Rubric

All applicants will be notified via e-mail by Tuesday, March 17, 2020, whether they have been granted a booth.

The event is open to the public and attendees will include downtown workers, state legislators, other elected officials, and tourism industry representatives.

It is recommended that you have at least two representatives at your booth.

Space is limited and applicants are not automatically guaranteed a booth.

Yes. You will be provided one 6’ table and two folding chairs. Please note, electric power is not readily available for booths. Please discuss any electrical needs with your assigned event contact in advance. You will not be provided a tent and may not bring your own per Statehouse guidelines.

Wednesday, May 6, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Your assigned event contact will provide information about bringing your own furniture and equipment. Please be sure to let your assigned event contact know in advance if you intend to bring any furniture.

In case of inclement weather, you will be contacted by your event contact with information about re-scheduling the event for another date.

Applicants will be scored by an evaluation rubric, View Rubric Here, and selected based on highest score, industry sector representation, and geographic representation throughout the state.

Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at 4 pm.

Your assigned event contact will provide information about unloading and loading including the location(s), guidelines and times on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at 7:30 am.

There is no sign-up fee nor is there a fee to have a booth.

Tourism industry groups and attractions in Ohio are eligible and encouraged to apply.

By Tuesday, March 17, 2020, you will be given the name and e-mail of your assigned event contact who will provide you with additional details and is available to answer your questions from that point through the conclusion of the event.

Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at 10:45 am.

The deadline is Sunday, March 8, 2020.

Your assigned event contact will offer a recommendation on how many items you should bring for distribution at your booth.

All booths will be located outside of the Statehouse on the West Plaza.

Your assigned event contact will provide you with dimensions for your booth.

There is no admission fee for attendees.
