COLUMBUS, Ohio (March 23, 2021) – Spring is in the air and so is the anticipation and excitement to shake off winter and begin making new memories. From the best outdoor spaces to catch blooming wildflowers and rare bird sightings to unique places for the perfect road trip and pit stops, Ohio. Find It Here. offers tons of options to celebrate Spring In Ohio.

"Ohioans have worked hard to get us to this point, and we look forward to safely exploring and supporting Ohio businesses and attractions this spring," said Lydia Mihalik, director of the Ohio Development Services Agency. "No matter what you're looking for, whether it's a scenic hike, a restaurant in a charming small town, or a fun activity for your family, you can find it here in Ohio."

One of the best starting points for eager tourists is the State of Ohio Official Travel Guide. The yearly publication is packed with more than 970 listings that cover 480 locations across all of Ohio’s 88 counties.

From your own backyard, to the state forests, parks, preserves and wildlife areas, Ohio's spring wildflower displays can be spotted across the state. Explorers can cross off all the spring bloomers they encounter with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) new spring wildflower checklist.

"There are countless ways to enjoy Spring in Ohio," said ODNR Director Mary Mertz. "It's the ideal time to explore a new state park, to paddle a kayak down a water trail, plan a hiking adventure, or take in the sights of the wildflowers just starting to bloom."

April starts the best time of the year to catch sight of migrating birds, especially along the Lake Erie shoreline. Some of the best bird watching sites include Magee Marsh State Wildlife Area, Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Oak Openings Preserve.

No Ohio road trip is complete without a hometown diner stop, complete with homemade, family-owned recipes and interesting conversations with the locals. Some of the favorite Ohio Road Trip Diners include Nutcracker Family Restaurant in Pataskala and Slyman's in Cleveland.
