Walleye Madness at Midnight is a quirky event that gives a small town feel to your new year. After all fish lovers, what’s better than dropping a 600-pound, 20-foot walleye at midnight!?  Reeling in the number four spot on Tripadvisors Top 10 Quirkiest New Year’s Eve Events, this fishy festivity is a big tradition in Port Clinton, so local businesses are getting prepared to offer Walleye specialty food.

Noon Year’s Eve, Toledo Zoo

Celebrate the “Noon” Year and make your “reZOOloutions” at the Toledo Zoo for their Noon Year’s Eve extravaganza.  A perfect family event for the little ones who can’t quite stay up until midnight. They’ll still get to enjoy all the hype and celebration of New Year’s, just a bit earlier. The ball will rise at the stroke of noon and you can raise a toast to the New Year with some tasty juice. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on December 31, kids can race down the Ice Slide in the Amphitheatre, watch ice carving demonstrations, make cool drafts in the African Lodge and more!

Cleveland rocks NYE, Cleveland

Join the grand celebration that welcomes guests of all ages to enjoy live performances, local food trucks, fireworks and more! This year’s Cleveland Rock NYE event will be held at Mall B near the convention center. Join 20,000 of your closest “friends” for a party to remember!
