Case in point, the beautiful village of Sugarcreek where you can dance along with the Oompah-pah band of the World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock. Fort Laurens in Bolivar is Ohio’s only Revolutionary War Fort. Learn the drastic measures the brave soldiers took to serve at this volatile time. National Historic Landmark District, Historic Zoar Village is known as America’s most successful Communal Society. Enjoy the architecture of original museums, and gardens. Dover and New Philadelphia haves downtown filled with friendly merchants, art galleries, and locally owned diners. Their museum offerings include an original Victorian Home, one sharing the life story of a master carver, another mentioned in Ripley’s Believe It or Not that tells of stories of those who have passed. Historic Schoenbrunn Village stories are the Ohio frontier; discover WWII tales at National Historic Landmark Dennison Railroad Depot Museum.
