The Wexner Center for the Arts is The Ohio State University's multidisciplinary, international laboratory for the exploration and advancement of contemporary art. Through exhibitions, screenings, performances, artist residencies, and education programs, the Wexner Center acts as a forum where established and emerging artists can test ideas and where diverse audiences can participate in cultural experiences that enhance the understanding of the art of our time.
New exhibitions usually debut at the Wex in the fall, midwinter, and late spring, and admission to the galleries is free at all times. Performances happen throughout the year, and popular annual events include Cinema Revival: A Festival of Film Restoration in February, the Unorthodocs festival of nonfiction films in October, and Zoom Family Film Festival in December.
The Center also houses a Store, as well as Heirloom Cafe, which is open weekdays. Various membership levels are available. Tickets to performing arts events are available at the Wexner Center ticket desk or online at wexarts.org. Please visit our website for the latest information.
