Moms inspire us, support us and encourage us – they are indeed deserving of their own special Mother’s Day, which is just around the corner on Sunday May 11, 2014.

If you are looking for unique brunch for mom, maybe a visit to a park, the zoo or setting sail would be the perfect way to honor her. Keep in mind, these events all take place ON Mother’s Day and all require advance reservations.

Top 5 Mother’s Day Brunches:

1. Toledo Zoo Mother’s Day Brunch (Toledo)

Spend a fantastic day at the Toledo Zoo with mom and enjoy a full Mother’s Day Brunch at the African Lodge. Moms get FREE zoo admission! Brunch includes a choice of a meal and dessert and access to the buffet with assorted salads, breads and drinks. Brunch prices – MEMBERS: $25/adults, $20/child (2-11) and Free for children under age two. NON-MEMBERS: $30/adults, $25/child (2-11), Free for children under age two. 2. Mother’s Day Brunch at Columbus Museum of Art (Columbus)

Enjoy a day walking through the galleries and special exhibits at the Columbus Museum of Art with mom then enjoy a quiet lunch in Derby Court. Brunch is from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and space is limited. 3. Mother’s Day on board the Nautica Queen (Cleveland)

Set sail with mom on board the Nautica Queen and enjoy Cleveland’s waterfront and skyline while enjoying brunch or dinner. Brunch boarding starts at 10 AM and cruise 11:00 am – 1:30 pm. Treat mom to a great brunch and performances at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage. A kosher brunch is accompanied by three short mother-themed performances by the Interplay Jewish Theatre and the Maltz Museum. Brunch is 11:00 am – 1:00 pm and tickets are $18. Reservations must be made by May 7, 2014 through the Maltz Museum.
