Celebrate America's independence by watching as the night skies of Ohio illuminate with colorful, astonishing firework shows that'll make you "ooh" and"ahh." Listed below are just a few of Ohio's grand displays for Independence Day.

The largest Independence Day celebration in the Midwest is back! Head to downtown Columbus for the 40th presentation of Red, White & BOOM! on July 1 at 10PM. 

And while not a firework display, Columbus' Doodah Parade on July 4 in the Short North Arts District is a celebration not to be missed!

One day just isn't enough for this small town! Conneaut is at it again with their annual festival. The 4th of July Parade is on July 2 at 2PM, followed the next day (July 3) by fireworks starting at 10PM at Lakeview Park.

Cedar Point in Sandusky is celebrating the holiday with a bang! The amusement park's "Light Up The Point" event features fun for the whole family with one of the largest fireworks shows on the Great Lakes.

The City of Chillicothe lights up the sky with their 4th of July Celebration on July 4 from 9:30-10PM. Fireworks start between 9:30-9:45PM.

Lights In Flight Fireworks Festival and Display in Dayton on July 3rd at RiverScape MetroPark is an illuminating good time, featuring entertainment, food and family fun! The festival runs from 5-10PM, with fireworks starting at 10PM.
