If you're looking for a modern and unique cabin stay in Hocking Hills, look no further than Idyll Reserve.
The Main House
Idyll Reserve is a collection of five modern cabin rentals in the heart of Hocking Hills. With luxurious amenities and a prime location near Old Man's Cave, these cabins just might be my favorite cabins in the Hocking Hills region!
Living space of The Main House
Set on nineteen wooded acres, the original on-site cabin was hand-built by the previous owner and lovingly renovated by the Idyll Reserve team. The other four cabins are built in collaboration with Hygge Supply, a Midwest based company that designs sustainable Scandinavian-inspired homes.
The South, The Hillside, and The North cabins can accommodate two-four people, while The Main House and The Cabin accommodates up to ten people. Two of the cabins are pet friendly - The Cabin and The Hillside welcome well-behaved dogs.
While each cabin has a different design theme, all the cabins have the same luxurious amenities, including:
- Fully equipped kitchens with high efficiency appliances and kitchen utensils
- Breville Espresso Maker
- Wall touchscreen light controls
- Sonos sound system
- Samsung Frame television (which include streaming apps like HBO, Netflix, Disney+ and Hulu)
- Wi-Fi
- Gas fireplace
- Large bathrooms with radiant floor heating
- Private hot tub heated at the tap with high efficiency tankless water heater
- Private outdoor space with gas grills and fire pits
- And so much more!
Each cabin is equipped with organic bedding, natural linen towels, locally hand-made shampoo/conditioner and hand soap, pantry basics (coffee, tea, spices, baking staples), highchair and Pack-n-Play, books, games, and a washer and dryer (including laundry soap).
The Idyll Reserve team has thought of every detail, so your stay is relaxing and luxurious with all the comforts of home.
Coffee on the deck
My husband and I have been fortunate to stay at two Idyll Reserve cabins - my goal is to stay at all five! The North, which is a cozy, one-bedroom, secluded cabin perfect for a romantic getaway. And we recently stayed in The Main House, which has two bedrooms, a bunk room, two bathrooms and a large outdoor deck, perfect for families or a large group.
During both stays, we had plans to hike the nearby Hocking Hills trails, but the lovely décor, cozy space, and luxurious amenities beckoned us to enjoy every single minute inside the cabin.
Soaking tub with a view
Giant windows with unobstructed views of the surrounding woods, heated floors, large soaking tub, cozy gas fireplace, the Breville Espresso Maker, and private hot tub are a few of my favorite cabin features.
Homemade dinner
We brought our own food to prepare during our stay, watched our favorite shows on the Samsung Frame tv, soaked in the hot tub, and lounged in the comfy space. We enjoyed being together in solitude with little interruptions, found peacefulness in the surrounding nature, and truly cherished every moment of our relaxing getaway at Idyll Reserve!
