How to Celebrate Thanksgiving at Home

The holidays are a time of joy and happiness, but can often be stressful -- just think of all that meal planning, prepping and preparing! But this year, ease that feeling so you can enjoy the festivities by grabbing a a delicious holiday meal to-go!

Check out these local Ohio restaurants and bakeries that are offering everything from sides, dessert to the whole meal! All ready for you to dig in right at your own table.

Turkey + Fixins: Lindey’s, one of Columbus' most celebrated restaurants, is serving a classic meal with their "Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes." The box (which feeds 10), includes everything you'll need for a perfect dinner: turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole and cranberry relish. Plus it also comes with pumpkin and pecan pie!

Dessert: Fox in the Snow Cafe might be best known for putting the step in your morning cup of coffee, but their bakery is not to be missed. Through Nov. 21, you can order your choice from their iconic pies like pumpkin, caramel apple or bourbon pecan. 

Pickup: Nov. 25 from 8AM - 3PM (at selected New Albany, German or Italian Village location)

Bonus: If you up to some baking, Fox in Snow shared the recipes behind two of their most popular items (chocolate chip cookies and buttermilk biscuits). 

Drinks: Crimson Cup Coffee is a Columbus staple, and their new flagship store - Crimson - at Easton Town Center features the same classic brews, with a cool new look. Wether you're picking up a cup for your self, or buying beans to brew at home, this classic makes for a perfect pairing with pie. 

Wolf's Ridge Brewing just released a new beer, Cosmo Canyon, perfect for Thanksgiving. This Cranberry Sauce Berliner Weisse features notes of cranberry, orange peel and cinnamon. 

If you're looking for a classic cocktail to go with your Thanksgiving meal, check out Antiques on High's "Thanksgiving Cocktail Package." You can choose from one of three options that a mix of beers, cocktails or beers and cocktails. Beer options are Den, Gingkyō, Hoop Driver and Pink Den, while the cocktail options are Higher Grounds, SOS, Chesterfield and Cowboy Steve. 

Pickup (and choose drinks): Nov. 25 from 9AM - 4PM

Bonus: You can order AOH's cocktail package as an add-on with Ambrose & Eve and Dough Mama's Thanksgiving Dinner collaboration. If you order food, it needs to be picked up at Ambrose & Eve on Nov. 25 from 9AM - 4PM.

Turkey + Fixins: Just outside Toledo, Brandywine Country Club in Maumee is letting you serve up a "Thanksgiving Day Feast At Home." Whether you're a larger family (or just really into leftovers) this meal with options for 4, 8 and 10 people has everything your Thanksgiving plate needs. Grab a slice of turkey and dressing, ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, rolls and pumpkin pie. You can also choose a wine option!

Pickup: on/before Nov. 25 

Dessert: With three size options of pie, Jera's Heavenly Sweet means you'll be able to have as many slices as pie as you want. Choose from fall favorites like pumpkin, sweet potato, southern pecan and fruit pies like apple. If you're looking for more delicious treats from Jera's, pick up some of their rolls or breakfast options like scones or a jumbo cinnamon roll for the morning after Turkey Day.  

Drinks: Maddie & Bella Coffee Roaster makes the perfect buddy for after dinner pie and dessert time. Whether you're going with a classic drip coffee or sipping one of their seasonal specialties (like THE psl, Cinnamon Toast Crunch or the pumpkin 'sproda), you'll be in caffeine heaven. 

Just outside of Toledo in Holland, Black Frog Brewery has the perfect beers for your holiday. Try the "Froglicious" (a honey porter), the "Coffee and Cream" ale or the one that's perfect for Thanksgiving Day -- "Granny's Sweet Potato Porter."

Turkey + Fixins: South of Cleveland, LockKeepers in Valley View is ready to serve you a feast -- literally! Their "Thanksgiving Feast To Go" comes with a 12 lb. brined, roasted and sliced whole turkey. And to top it all off, you'll also get gravy, mashed potatoes, candied yams, herb stuffing, cranberry and pumpkin cheesecake.

Pickup: Nov. 25 from 11AM - 6PM 

Dessert: Luna Bakery and Cafe in Cleveland Heights will satisfy any Thanksgiving sweet tooth. You can order the traditional pie route with options like maple pumpkin, bourbon pecan or apple streusel. Or try some "Take and Bake" maple pecan sticky buns. If you like something a little more munchable, order a selection of Thanksgiving-themed sugar cookies. You can even get a "Take and Decorate" sugar cookie set -- a perfect activity that the whole family can get into! 

Order by: Nov. 20
Pickup: Nov. 25 by 3PM 

Drinks: What's more iconic this holiday season then sipping on the "Christmas Ale" from Great Lakes Brewery Co. Although the "Ohio City Oatmeal Stout" is another great option, and it pairs especially well with dessert!

Turkey + Fixins: Enjoy the peace and quiet that Athens has to offer as well as its culinary magnificence. Cutler’s Restaurant, located in the Ohio University Inn and Conference Center, is offering a "Thanksgiving Dinner and Curbside Pickup Family Meal." This meal, serving 4 people, comes with everything from sliced roasted turkey, corn, herbed stuffing and seasonal pies.

Pickup: Nov. 26 from 11AM - 5PM 

Dessert: There's nothing cuter than holiday cookies. Fluff Bakery has two cookie options on their Thanksgiving menu -- holiday decorated sugar cookies and pumpkin cookies with caramel icing. They also have gluten-free cinnamon rolls with maple glaze. But if you're really all about that pie, then order their made from scratch pumpkin pie (that you can also add a shot of bourbon to!). 

Order by: Nov. 22 
Pickup: Nov. 24 - 25, from 8:30AM - 12PM 

Drinks: Donkey Coffee and Espresso adds java-centric fun to your Thanksgiving. Sip from coffee the morning, or enjoy a cup with your pie. You can order online, or buy some beans to brew at home. If you're looking for a non-coffee option, check out their chai, which you can also buy to make at home. 

Ohio is loves its (craft beer) and Jackie O's never disappoints beer lovers. Go with you favorite pastime brew, or try something new. Maybe try something inspired by Thanksgiving sides like the "Carrots & Sticks," an ale brewed with fermented carrot purree, conditioned on vanilla beans and aged in a bourbon barrel.

Turkey + Fixins: The Phoenix's "Thanksgiving To Go" has everything the perfect Thanksgiving dinner needs. From sliced turkey with gravy, cranberry orange relish, stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, carrots to dinner rolls and your choice of pumpkin or apple pie.

Pickup: Nov. 26 from 11AM - 2PM (call and they'll bring the order to your car)

Bonus: If you that charming feel for the holiday, then check out The Golden Lamb restaurant in Lebanon (just outside Cincinnati). It's an historic Ohio icon celebrating Thanksgiving since it became a national holiday. This year, you can pickup a "Thanksgiving Take & Bake" (pickup on Nov. 24 - 25 from 1-7PM). 

Dessert: There's nothing more charming than the pies at Good Pie Y'all. Try their pumpkin streusel, classic apple, salted caramel apple streusel or southern pecan pies. For a more festive dessert, order their classic apple pie -- but with a Thanksgiving design! If you can't decided, they also have a Thanksgiving sampler and some cinnamon rolls to choose from. 

Drinks: Make it a one-stop shop for your coffee and wine this Thanksgiving and head to 1215 Wine Bar & Coffee Lab. Pickup a bottle of wine, or grab a latte for that caffeine fix. If you're looking for some extra fun, check out their "Wine Club."

Turkey + Fixins: Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is offering an "At-Home Experience" this year. Order their three-course Thanksgiving dinner that includes an appetizer, herb-roasted turkey and dessert. If you're already tired of turkey, they have a filet mignon and prime bone-in ribeye available too. 

Dessert: It's not just coffee at Ghostlight Coffee this holiday. You can order everything from snickerdoodle cookies, autumn-inspired macarons to classics like apple and pumpkin + maple pies. Or go for their popular "Lumberjack Pie," a custard-like maple pie with a cinnamon cookie-inspired crust. 

Drinks: For those who love all the coffee, check out Boston Stoker. Order some beans and brew at home, or try one of their flavored coffees like "Pumpkin Spice." 

Carillon Brewery Co. loves bringing the history of brewing to your tastebuds. Although their seasonal offerings, like the Squash Ale (brewed with butternut squash, barley, brown sugar and cinnamon), sounds like the perfect Thanksgiving beer.
