There's no shortage of holiday tradition here in Ohio. Christmas movie sets, entire villages of Nutcrackers, real-life winter wonderlands, and so much more. When you stop by these festive attractions, you'll make joyful memories at the best holiday spots Ohio has to offer.
A Christmas Story House in Cleveland
Relive scenes from this treasured movie as you tour the home from the "You'll shoot your eye out!" classic: A Christmas Story. Located in Cleveland, A Christmas Story House has become a cherished holiday tradition. You too, can decode a secret message in the upstairs bathroom, or see if you can climb under the sink just like little brother Randy.
After visiting the house, be sure to swing by the museum located right across the street where you'll find more movie memorabilia – and the opportunity to buy your very own leg lamp.
Blaze of Lights in Bluffton
The village of Bluffton is ablaze with holiday cheer. Blaze of Lights, on display from Nov. 26 - Jan. 1, features a lighted display of folk art. The Ream folk art adorns the Bluffton Presbyterian Church lawn and welcomes visitors into the village and downtown business district.
Castle Noel in Medina
Penned as "America's Largest Year-Round Indoor Christmas Entertainment Attraction," Castle Noel is teeming with excitement and the spirit of the holiday season. Housing the world's largest private collection of Hollywood Christmas movie props, costumes, and more – you're sure to feel as if you're on a Christmas movie set. Scope out treasures from dozens of Christmas movies, including The Grinch, Elf, and The Santa Clause.
Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad North Pole Adventure™ in Peninsula

Dickens Victorian Village in Cambridge
Literary fans will love Dickens Victorian Village in Cambridge. Between Nov. 1 - Dec. 31, stroll along to see more than 90 Victorian-era scenes scattered along the historic downtown's main roadway. For even more fun, stop by the Dickens Welcome Center and Curiosity Shoppe (Nov. 1 - Dec. 30) where costumed volunteers share stories and behind-the-scenes looks at how the display is created. Plus, if you visit the Imagination Station, you can get your picture taken dressed in Victorian costumes too.
Legendary Lights of Historic Clifton Mill in Clifton
Don't miss the Legendary Lights of Historic Clifton Mill, which has dazzled visitors for 35 years. With more than 4 million lights (including a must-see, 100-foot waterfall of lights), this holiday spot has it all. This must-see attraction's light display will be up from Nov. 25 - Dec. 30. While there, check out the Miniature Village, Santa Claus Museum , and peek into Santa's Workshop to see a live Santa at work!
Light Up Camp at Flying Horse Farms in Mt. Gilead
A twinkling wonderland awaits at this year's Light Up Camp at Flying Horse Farms. the half-mile season drive-thru light display transforms the property's buildings into an animated wonderland show. The free attraction runs from Nov. 25 - Dec. 24 (with a suggested donation to that'll assist FHF in continuing its mission).
Merry and Bright Bridges in Marysville
Spectacular holiday happenings are taking place all throughout Marysville. Find your next holiday adventure with Union County's Covered Bridge Trail. This year, several of the covered bridges - like the Bigelow Covered Bridge and Pottersburg Covered Bridge - are decorated with holiday lights. It's the perfect scenic sight to explore this season!
Spiegel Grove at Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums in Fremont
There's so much to do this holiday season in Fremont at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums. With so many different events to choose from, you'll find something for everyone to enjoy. The highlight of the holidays though, is sure to be "A Presidential Christmas at Spiegel Grove: Horse-drawn sleigh and trolley rides." Steubenville Nutcracker Village
Walk through a real-life winter wonderland at Steubenville Nutcracker Village. Featuring 200 life-size nutcrackers, it's the world's largest display of life-size nutcrackers! Walk through historic downtown Steubenville from Nov. 22 - Jan. 7 and see these one-of-a-kind decorations IRL.
Bring the whole family and try the Great Nutcracker Storywalk. The StoryWalk on 4th Street is a family-friendly trail that combines walking a trail and reading - or rather hunting - for book pages around the nutcrackers. You'll pick up your Treasure Map at Leonardo's Coffeehouse and if you finish the whole book ... bring the map to the Main Library get a free nutcracker surprise!
Winter Nights, River Lights in Cincinnati
Hit the road and for a traverse along The Purple People Bridge in Cincinnati. For the Winter Nights, River Lights holiday display, the bridge is decorated with over 1,000 lights. Plus, if you roll down your windows, you can listen to holiday tunes playing on speakers throughout the bridge. The display lasts from Nov. 17 - Jan. 7 - so plan your holiday trip soon!
