As the most historic Ohio State Park Lodge, the English Tudor-style Punderson Manor is a cozy winter retreat. The Manor offers lodge rooms, cabins, and pet-friendly accommodations. There's plenty of fun outdoor winter activities such as a snowtubing hill with tow rope, cross-country ski trails, fat tire bike trails, hiking trails with lake views and an outdoor firepit perfect for creating S'mores.

Warm up inside the lodge by the indoor fireplaces, swim in the indoor heated pool, challenge your friends and family to a board game and dine at the onsite restaurant. Punderson Manor is a stop on the Scenic Route Road Trip, so be sure to explore the area as well!

Hueston Woods Lodge in College Corner

With some of the most scenic views in southwest Ohio, the lodge rooms and cabins at Hueston Woods are the perfect winter escape. Explore the outdoors with a hike on the nature trails, go cross-country skiing or take a geocaching scavenger hunt.

After a day of outdoor adventures, warm-up by the cozy indoor fireplace, enjoy the view out the floor to ceiling windows from a rocking chair, swim in the indoor heated pool, play games in the game room, visit the Hueston Woods State Park Nature Center and Raptor Rehabilitation Center and dine at the onsite restaurant.

Hueston Woods also has pet-friendly accommodations and a dog park for your four-legged best friend.

Burr Oar Lodge in Glouster

Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Burr Oak State Park is a nature enthusiasts dream. Burr Oak Lodge offers rooms, cabins and pet-friendly accommodations. With 40 miles of hiking trails, including a portion of the Buckeye Trail, a winter hike here is a must. There are hidden treasures to be found in the park and geocaching fans will have fun taking a scavenger hunt.

Indoor activities include a complimentary board games, an interactive nature display, cozy reading nooks throughout the lodge and to relax in front of a wood-burning fireplace.

Overlooking the picturesque Lake Erie, Maumee Bay offers lodge rooms, cabins and pet-friendly accommodations. Bundle up to admire winter lake views, miles of hiking and cross-country ski trails, watch for bald eagles and migratory birds along the Lake Erie Birding Trail and go on a geocaching scavenger hunt.

Inside the lodge, warm up by the fire, play a game of racquetball, swim a few laps in the indoor heated pool, enjoy board games, visit the game room, and dine at the onsite restaurant.

Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake

Located along the shores of Lake Erie, the Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake makes for a peaceful lake retreat with lodge rooms and cottages, including lakefront cottages. Outdoor activities such as snowshoeing, cross-country skiing (both snowshoes and cross-country skis can be rented at the lodge), hiking on a lakeside trail and watching the sun set or rise over Lake Erie.

Warm up inside the lodge by the giant fireplace, dine at the onsite restaurant, take a self-guided driving covered bridge tour, or visit local wineries on the wine shuttle.
