TourismOhio is excited to launch a new interactive map that features a collection of Ohio Adventure Trails via www.Ohio.org. The map includes 36 trails from partners who provided their content for the site launch. Trail categories include coffee, spirits, food, shopping, sightseeing, and history.
The site provides visitors one place to learn more about the many trails throughout Ohio ranging from the Butler County Donut Trail to the Columbus Coffee Experience, to the Dayton Aviation Trail to Mansfield’s Shawshank Trail. The 36 trails and more than 600 stops highlight the significant number of small businesses across Ohio that contribute to an authentic travel experience.
Ohio Adventure Trails content was announced yesterday via a press release. Additional promotions to drive visitors to the website include organic and paid social media, digital and native advertising, paid search, a consumer eNewsletter, blogs, a promotion with Bob Evans Restaurants, and a partnership with the Ohio State Fair.
TourismOhio is excited to continue to expand the number of adventure trails featured on the site. Please contact Lauren Seckel if you would like to have your adventure trail added to the site later this summer!
This is the Year of the Trails in Ohio and our promotion includes highlighting the over 5,000 miles of natural trails across Ohio. Through a partnership with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, a website has been created featuring 843 hiking, biking, running, water, equestrian and other trails. This includes the Buckeye Trail that traverses our entire state, the Scioto Trail, Rocky Fork Trail, and more.
