As you may recall, we launched a new promotion, Holidays In Ohio, last month. The idea is to help Ohio hosts and travelers find unique opportunities to connect and enjoy time with family and friends. To-date, the web page, Ohio.org/Holidays, has received approximately 26,000 visits.
Through our social media efforts led by Elaine Laux (email@example.com), we have garnered:
- Facebook (6 posts to-date): Reach of 171,000 and 1,120 Shares with 819 Comments
- Facebook Ads (3 posts): Reach of 1,228,016 Likes and 5,725 Likes with 1,658 Comments
- Instagram: 23,900 Reached and 19,680 Engagements
- Twitter: 32,413 Engagements
Thank you to everyone who has joined with us to promote Ohio travel opportunities by using #HolidaysinOhio and to those partners who have agreed to test use of Instagram frames being shipped to them this week (A Christmas Story House, Legendary Lights at Clifton Mill and the Ohio Chinese Lantern Festival). Each frame includes the #HolidaysinOhio as well as the attraction’s geotag and hashtag.
Tamara Brown, our public relations manager, has been out sharing Holidays in Ohio with TV/radio interviews in: Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, Toledo, Canton and Findlay. With those efforts and pick up by print and online publications, we have an Earned Media Audience Reach nearing 11 million. We have also engaged online influencers who are interested in experiencing some Holidays In Ohio activities.
