March has come in like a lion and here’s hoping it goes out like a lamb. Even though you might find yourself snowed in at present, we’re less than one week from the official start of spring and here at TourismOhio we’re gearing up for the new season!
Now is the time when consumers start to plan their summer getaways so we’re very excited about the return of the Ohio. Find It Here. commercial to the television airwaves on March 20! The initial flight will be four weeks long followed by a hiatus of several weeks and then a return to the air several times throughout the summer and fall.
In addition to broadcast advertising, other core advertising support during 2017 includes digital advertising such as connected TV, paid search, print and social media which will provide ongoing messaging throughout the year. Co-op advertising will run in tandem and includes paid search, digital display, eBlasts, Pandora radio, print and brochure distribution. We are also excited to announce that in culmination with National Travel and Tourism Week (May 7-13), we will be hosting Ohio. Find It Here. Tourism Day 2017 at the Ohio Statehouse on Wednesday, May 10! Event details and information on how you can become involved are coming your way soon!

Last month TourismOhio’s Tamara Brown and Ohio tourism industry partners traveled to New York on a media mission to meet with several national media outlets and share the Ohio.
