The North Pole Adventure™ put on by Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is a one-of-a-kind holiday experience for children. Grab your best pair of holiday jammies and hop aboard! The train departs from two locations, the Akron Station and the Rockside Station. This event takes place from November 5 – December 19.
Please note: North Pole Adventure will not run on November 24 and 25 for Thanksgiving.
You'll be greeted by friendly elves who will help you find your seats aboard the train. Once you've found your seats either make yourself comfortable, meet your new neighbors, or head to the snack car for some light food/drinks. If you have littles ones with you it might be wise to grab some snacks/water since the ride is 90 minutes long!
Once the train departs the station and makes its way toward the North Pole, the elves will hand out letters/envelopes and pens so all the kids can write their letter to Santa. The letters are then collected to ensure a safe delivery once you arrive to the North Pole. After the letters everyone can enjoy a cup of delicious hot chocolate and a sweet cookie treat from b.a. Sweetie Candy Company.
As you arrive to the North Pole you'll be greeted by a beautiful light display with character cut outs, a big holiday tree and many adorable elves and other Santa helper's waving from the station. Everyone's letters get delivered to the North Pole mailbox and the venture back to the station begins! There are many fun activities to pass the time on the way back. This is when to really get into the holiday spirit by participating in the pajama parade, sing-a-long songs and a special visit from Santa himself!
This event is fun for all ages and is a one-of-a-kind experience this holiday season, so don't miss out!
