The holidays are here and that means magic and adventure. Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with these holiday happenings across the state.

Add some excitement to your holiday shopping with Hocking Hill's Holiday Treasure Hunt. From Nov. 1 - Dec. 12, collect stamps for any six of the 29 participating stores to win a variety of prize. 

The holidays are lit when you check out the Guernsey County Courthouse Light Show in Cambridge. From Nov. 1-6 (6:30-9:30PM) & Nov. 17 - Dec. 31 (5:30-9:30PM), go see this amazing light show.

Take to the streets for The Blade Holiday Parade in Toledo. On Nov. 13 at 10AM, watch giant balloons, local marching bands and even Santa march into the holiday season. 

Make a break for it and do your holiday shopping during the Maker's Mart at Handmade Toledo. Pick up a one-of-kind gift from local artists and makers when you stop by on Nov. 13 between 11AM - 7PM.

You better shop around Not Your Mama's Craft Market at BrewDog in Canal Winchester on Nov. 14. From 11AM - 4PM, you can check out vendors with amazing gifts for everyone on your list. 

🎶O' Christmas Tree how lovey are thy lighted branches. Easton's Grand Illumination on Nov. 19 (6-9PM) kicks-off the holiday season. 

Step into the past when you visit the Memories of Christmas Past Exhibit at Arms Family Museum in Youngstown. See how the home might have been decorated in the 1900s to the 1930s and feel inspired by the unique and colorful decorations. The exhibit runs from Nov. 20 - Dec. 31

It's all horsing around at Greenville's Hometown Holiday Horse Parade. The parade begins at 7PM on Nov. 20. Or head to Lebanon on Dec. 4 for their annual Horse Drawn Carriage Parade & Festival

Time for the silver screen! Watch holiday movie screenings like National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation at the McCoy Center for the Arts in New Albany on Nov. 23 at 7PM. Or warm up those pipes for Singalong Movie Night: The Muppet Christmas Carol with the Children’s Theatre Workshop at Toledo's Ohio Theatre on Dec. 3 from 6:30-8:30PM.

Keep the holidays on track with the Hayes Train Special at Hayes Presidential Library & Museums in Fremont. Opening Day is on Nov. 26 (9AM - 5PM) and this display will be up from Nov. 26 - Jan. 9

Countdown your holiday shopping when you stop by the ​​​​​Advent Market at Fort Steuben Park. The Steubenville event goes from Nov. 26 - Dec. 19 (F/S at 3-8PM, S 12-8PM)

Don't be Scrooge this holiday season, go watch a production of the classic Christmas tale. Cleveland's Great Lakes Theatre production of A Christmas Carol will be at the Miami Ohio Theatre from Nov. 26 - Dec. 23.  Or head down to Cincinnati for CincyPlay's production from Nov. 24 - Dec. 30. Or watch The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati's "Bah Humbug!" from the cozy comfort of home between Dec. 1-31 (available through Broadway on Demand). 

Find festive fun during Winter RiverFest at Merwin's Wharf. Rivergate Park in Cleveland transform with an ice-skating rink, igloo village and even appearances by Santa! Stop by between Nov. 26 - Jan. 2 for all this winter fun. 

It's a blast from the past during 1920s Holidays on Main Street at Sauder Village. On Nov. 27, Dec. 4 & 11 at 6-9PM, enjoy holiday window displays, lights and a 20 foot tall Christmas Tree. For more holiday cheer, check out the Making Spirits Bright on Main Street event on Dec. 3
