Breezy, cool temperatures, scenic fall foliage and tasty pumpkin treats – there's so much to enjoy during the fall season! Start the season off right and celebrate Fall in Ohio at these upcoming festivals and events:

Experience spine-tingling fun when you visit All Hallow's Eve Terror Town in Williamsburg. The 19th century styled Old West town features a variety of spooks sure to get you into the spirit of the season. Stop by Fridays and Saturdays from Sept. 3 - Nov. 6

Relive the ye olde days when you head to Waynesville for the Ohio Renaissance Festival. The festival is open on weekends from Sept. 4 - Oct. 31 (and Labor Day). 

Feel the music at the 2021 Celebration Concert from Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. This musical event on Sept. 9 is inspired by all things food. For even more musical magic, check out PIXAR'S COCO Film with Live Orchestra on Sept. 17-18 and THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS Film with Live Orchestra on Oct. 23-24

Get poppin' at the Marion Popcorn Festival. The largest popcorn festival goes from Sept. 9-11

Revel at the fall bike rally that's Thunder on the Strip. The 15th annual event in Geneva-on-the-Lake is from Sept. 9-12

Become living art when you visit the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit coming to Ohio this fall. The Cleveland stop runs from Sept. 9 - Jan. 2, and Columbus runs from Oct. 28 - Jan. 2

Jam out in Columbus when you check out 934 Fest. The art and music festival put on by 934 Gallery is a free festival full of fun going on from Sept. 10-11

Rise & stein with Oktoberfest season! Cleveland Oktoberfest continues Sept. 10-11Columbus Oktoberfest goes from Sept. 10-12Oktoberfest Zinzinnati (Cincinnati) is from Sept. 16-19, and Dayton Art Institute's popular Oktoberfest takes place Sept. 24-26

It's all Greek when you stop by the Dayton Greek Festival. The family-friendly Greek Fest Express takes place from Sept. 10-12 right next to the Dayton Art Institute and celebrates all things Greek!

Have a wheelie good time when you head down to Marietta for the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival from Sept. 10-12

Toast to a charitable mood at Cincinnati International Wine Festival's Charity Auction & Luncheon. The Sept. 11 event is a silent and live auction featuring exclusives wines and a gourmet (three-course) lunch. 

Get some shrimpies as you embrace your inner Eleanor Shellstrop at the Ohio Fish & Shrimp Festival in Urbana. While the main event is Ohio's freshwater shrimp harvest, you can also enjoy a wide variety of seafood offerings plus live music, vendors, games and family activities. Stop by on Sept. 11, 18 & 25 for this one-of-a-kind event! 

Giddy up for the All Horse Parade in Delaware on Sept. 12. This special event also features the famous Budweiser Clydesdales. 

Be cool daddy-o when you check out the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival in Gahanna. This musical festival strikes a chord from Sept. 17-19

Gather round for the Great Mohican Pow-Wow in Loudonville on Sept. 17-19

Pawpaw real smooth when you head to Albany for the Annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival on Sept. 17-19. Bonus points if you remember that the pawpaw is the state's official native fruit. 

Thrills and chills await you at Cedar Point's HalloWeekends (Sept. 17 - Oct. 31). If the chills of Haunt at HalloWeekends (Sept. 17 - Oct. 31),  are too hair-raising, then try the all new family-friendly Tricks and Treats Fall Fest. This festival from Sept. 18 - Oct. 31 includes everything from activities, entertainment, special merch, and more.

Splish splash, you were RUNNING AWAY FROM ZOOMBIES! New this year, Zoombezi Bay transforms into ZOMBIEzi Bay from Sept. 17 - Oct. 31

Celebrate at the Columbus Commons with Festival Latino on Sept. 18.  This free, one-night-only concert showcases some of the best international Latin artists. 

Hit the trails for the Hocking Hills Trail Run. These 5K, 10K, 20K, 40K and 60K races on Sept. 18 begin at Hocking Hills State Park Naturalist Cabin and wind through the State Park and Hocking State Forest. 

Pig out at the Preble County Fairgrounds for the Pork Festival on Sept. 18-19

Become one with nature during the Short North Arts District's 2021 Tour of Gardens. The Columbus neighborhood event on Sept. 19 shows off breathtaking outdoor living spaces, patios and impressive landscaping. 

Ignite creativity at Cleveland's IngenuityFest from Sept. 24-26

Frightful fun can be found at Kings Island's Halloween Haunt on Fridays and Saturdays from Sept. 24 - Oct. 30. More family-friendly fun and 'frights' can be found at the Tricks & Treats Fall Fest and HalloTween. Both of which run from Sept. 25 - Oct. 31

You'll have a latte fun at the Columbus Coffee Festival on Sept. 25-26. And you can keep the caffeine celebrations going with the Cincinnati Coffee Festival on Oct. 23-24

Do the twist when you visit the Germantown Pretzel Festival on Sept. 25-26. This festival has been happening since 1980 and has a contest (judged by local celebrities) to decide the best pretzel/pretzel dish at the festival.

Best of both worlds come together for the Pyramid Hill Art & Music Festival in Hamilton on Sept. 25-26

Embrace your inner fashionista during Fashion Week Columbus. The series of stylish events takes place from Sept. 26 - Oct. 2 and shows off mind blowing designs from designers both near and far! 

It's all about horsing around at the All American Quarter Horse Congress on Sept. 28 - Oct. 24 in Columbus. 

Get animated for this year's Cartoon Crossroads Columbus. The event on Sept. 30 - Oct. 3 illustrates the best in cartoons, comics and animation. 

You'll have a batty good fun at Columbus Zoo and Aquarium's Boo at the Zoo. Whether it's costumed fun or animal exploration, you and the family will enjoy these spirited weekends (Oct. 1-3, 8-10, 15-17, 22-24 & 29-31). For those venturing outside Central Ohio, check out Cleveland Metropark Zoo's Trick-or-treat Fest from Oct. 8-10, 15-17, 22-24 & 29-31, Little Boo at The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium on Oct. 14-15, Boo at the Akron Zoo from Oct. 16-17, 23-24 & 30-31, and HallZOOween at Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden from Oct. 16-17, 23-24 & 30-31

Catch more than a fleeting glance during the Hocking Hills Bigfoot Conference on Oct. 1-3 in South Bloomingville.  

Gourdeous sights are sure to be found at Delaware's Ohio Gourd Show & Festival on Oct. 1-3

Fall into fun at the Put-in-Bay Fall Ball Party from Oct. 1-3

Fangtastic entertainment awakens at the "Passion of Dracula" performance in Chillicothe, every Friday and Saturday night from Oct. 1 -30

A city known for innovation gets crafty with the Make It Dayton Festival. Head to Carillon Historical Park on Oct. 2 for a day full of artisans, craftsman and inventors. 

Show your pride at the 4th Annual Newark Ohio Pride Festival on Oct. 2

It's totally squash goals when you see what's happening with the Fall Farm Pumpkin Fun at Young's Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs on Oct. 2-3

Here comes the Sunflower Festival at Gorman Heritage Farm in Evendale on Oct. 2 -3 ... (do, do, do, do) 🌻. 

Don't lose your head at All Hollow's Eve presented by the Ohio History Connection Saturdays in October (Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30). Listen to a retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by the bonfire, and enjoy pumpkin carving and Victorian-era entertainment. 

Enjoy screen time at the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival from Oct. 5-10. This Northeast Ohio event presents a celebration of filmmaking that takes places across several venues of Chagrin Falls. 

The hills are alive with the sound of music at the Hocking Hills Music Festival in Nelsonville. From Oct. 8-9, you can enjoy live music that'll get you ready for the fall season! 

Down on the farm there's fun for all! The 50th Annual Bob Evans Farm Festival is back. Head to Bidwell on Oct. 8-10 for family-friendly entertainment. 

A spooktacular time awaits you at the Chillicothe Halloween Festival on Oct. 8-10

There's no gnocchi about it, the Columbus Italian Festival is serving up classic food, games and entertainment this Oct. 8-10.

You'll apple-solutely have a great time at the Oak Harbor Apple Festival. Held the second week of October (Oct. 9-10), this festival has it all - from apple runs to baking contest, a royal court and more! 

Head for covered bridges during the Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival. The popular festival is back this year from Oct. 9-10

Kraut you believe all the food festivals happening this fall? One of the most memorable is the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival on Oct. 9-10 in Waynesville. 

Nothing butter than the Applebutter Fest of Grand Rapids. On Oct. 10, head to the Maumee River for historical reenactments, crafts, music and of course - food! And you butter believe there's even more fun to be had at the Apple Butter Stirrin' Festival. Returning to Roscoe Village (in Coshocton) on Oct. 15-17, this festivals is back for its 50th year of fantastic food, vendors and entertainment. 

It's unbe-leaf-able the sights you'll encounter during the Fall Festival of Leaves on Oct. 15-17. Known as "Leaf Country, U.S.A," Bainbridge hosts this autumnal celebration of the season with crafts, parades, flea markets and so much more. 

Carve out time over the weekend for Family Halloween at Kelleys Island on Oct. 16

All hail the pumpkin king! Or rather, all things orange and and squash related at the iconic Circleville Pumpkin Show on Oct. 20-23. Dubbed the "Greatest Free Show on Earth," this festival has everything: pumpkin pies, pumpkin donuts, giant pumpkins and a Miss Pumpkin Show. 

Get a glow up at the Great Westerville Pumpkin Glow on Oct. 20-24. The family-friendly event features one-of-kind displays for everyone to "ghoul" and "ah" over.

Hit the streets for the iconic costumed HighBall Halloween in Columbus on Oct. 23. As they say, "you are what you wear." 

Cleveland rocks this October for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction on Oct. 30.  This year's ceremony in Cleveland is at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse and features inductees like Tina Turner, Carole King, The Go-Go's and JAY-Z. 

Book it to the Buckeye Book Fair on Nov. 5-6. The Wooster-based event highlights all the best Ohio authors, illustrators and literary fun in the state.
