Columbus

Bake Me Happy – You’ll feel nothing but joy after leaving Bake Me Happy, a gluten free bakery located in Merion Village. Don’t feel like leaving the house for your yummy snacks? Order from their online store!

Plenty ‘O Cookies – A self-taught baker, Alex (known also as Plenty ‘O Smiles) serves up deliciously decorated cookies. And if something seems familiar, you probably remember these cookies from Food Network’s “Christmas Cookie Challenge.”

Sassafras Bakery – Made from scratch in small batches, Sassafras Bakery will surely satisfy your sweet tooth with their delicious pies, cookies, brownies and more.

Union Café – For delicious food, an amazing patio, friendly staff and creative martini menu, head to Union Café. Make it a point to head to their brunch buffet, where you can build your own creations at their omelet station and waffle bar.

Axis – Axis is Columbus’ largest LGBTQ+ dance club with a modern patio and variety of events, from all-male revues to premier drag entertainment.

Torso – Known for their expansive selection of men’s underwear and swimwear, Torso strives to carry new and exclusive designers, styles and gift items.

The Kitchen – Create memories and bond with others through food. The Kitchen offers two event spaces perfect for corporate events, weddings, birthday celebrations and more. Columbus’ first and only full-scale Participatory Dinner Party, turn a normal meal into a collaborative evening as you and other guests prepare a meal together.

Samson Men’s Emporium – Shop for all of your modern-day needs, from clothing to apothecary to barware, at Samson Men’s Emporium in the Short North.

nosh – This candy company delivers “confectionery storytelling” with treats like  banana-pecan brittle, toute-suites and jumbo strawberry Merlot gumdrops. You can find them at events throughout Columbus, most often at Saint Mary’s Farmers Market in German Village.

Out of the Closet – Thrift for a good cause at Out of the Closet, where proceeds benefit the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Additionally, this store offers free HIV testing.

Dayton

Dayton LGBTQ Film Festival – This year’s film festival is on hold, but thanks to The Neon (Dayton’s indie art-house cinema), you can watch lots of the festival’s recommended films with their Virtual Cinema!

MJ’s on Jefferson – For a night of fun, visit MJ’s on Jefferson – a gay owned and operated nightclub in the gay entertainment district in downtown Dayton.

Cincinnati

Rohs Street Café – Stop by Rohs Street Café for quality espresso drink and brewed coffee roasted right in Cincinnati by partners Deeper Roots Coffee.

Below Zero Lounge – Located in the trendy Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, Below Zero Lounge features a wide variety of quality liquors and celebrates the city’s proud heritage of brewing the finest craft beers.

The Birdcage – Everyone is welcome at the Birdcage. They are currently open for business with inside tables and outside tables with social distancing practices in place. They do not have any live entertainment, karaoke, or weekly events scheduled currently, but are hoping to bring them back in the coming months.

The Cabaret – Known as Cincinnati’s premier drag show lounge, The Cabaret offers top notch entertainment from The Cabaret Showgurls. Book your table now!

Sitwell’s – Find the best vibes at Sitwell’s Act II, an eclectic neighborhood stable with a bohemian atmosphere, live music, local art, poetry readings, and of course, delicious food.

Cleveland

Chill Pops – These frozen novelties feature truly unique flavors, like Black Pepper Plum, Avocado Mint Chip, Sea Salt Strawberry Cream and more. These popsicles are also available at retailers like Giant Eagle and Whole Foods. They also appeared in a 2018 issue of O Magazine (and co-founder Elizabeth Pryor got a mention in Inc.‘s 2019 magazine feature on Cleveland businesses).

Brewella’s – Part coffee shop, part créperie, Brewella’s serves a variety of delicious drinks and pastries.

Soothing Sloth Soap – Soothing Sloth Co. handmakes their products with natural, SLS and sulfate free ingredients. This year, 15% of all sales during the month of June will be donated to the National Center for Transgender Equality.

Pet-tique – A boutique for your pet. Pet-tique offers wholesome, healthy dog and cat treat and food lines that provide a longer, healthier life for our furry friends.

Urban Orchid – This upscale floral and gift boutique specializes in custom weddings, events and everyday floral needs.

Felice Urban Café – Located in a turn-of-the-century home, Felice Urban Café is known for locally-soured produce including ingredients from its own garden.

Coven – Specializing in crystals, herbs, books, potions and more, Coven seeks out small businesses, local artists and LGBTQ+ makers to feature in their shop. In addition to curbside pickup, they’re now offering free local delivery on orders over $30.

Pop Life Universe – Pop Life Universe is in a brilliant building with bright colors, and the products they offer are no different. They work with artists and designers to create unique products and experiences, and also have a yoga studio and juicery inside their store.

The Side Quest – Unleash your inner nerd at The Side Quest. This bar focuses on all thing’s geek, nerd, and pop culture. Trivia, theme nights, game nights, lecture series and live television programming are all common events. While the space is closed until August, check out their online offerings, like the Side Quest Book Club. Or bring a little of The Side Quest home by getting some merch or ordering their cocktail book.

Twist Social Club – This neighborhood bar and night club with a robust entertainment schedule including monthly theme parties and Cleveland’s best DJ’s is focused on serving the LGBTQ+ community of greater Cleveland.

Praxis Fiber Workshop – Get creative at Praxis Fiber Workshop, a nonprofit fiber art center. They offer classes and workshops teaching a wide variety of fiber techniques, and they also offer studio space for fiber artists and a gallery to promote the field of contemporary fiber art.
