What better way to celebrate National Hot Tea Month than by cozying up with one of Ohio's tea salons. Or take your tea to-go and enjoy at home thanks to easy take-out options. Check out these tea salons across the state that are as quaint as they are delicious.

Sweet Shalom Tea Room in Sylvania
Located in a farmhouse built 140 years ago, Sweet Shalom Tea Room is serving up teas from Vintage Tea paired with delectable pastries and comfort foods. They're offering Take Away Teas with curbside pickup as well as dining on the verandas (weather permitting) and limited indoor seating. All teas are by reservation only (call 419-297-9919).

Perky Kettle in Chesterland
The Perky Kettle offers an abundance of teas, from black tea to oolong and herbal. As a special program on Saturdays from 11:30AM to 5PM, you can order a Tea Party To-Go, complete with special fun plates, a tea bag and pastries. Additionally, you can add any of their to-go menu items to the party.
Matcha Latte
Essencha Tea House in Cincinnati
With the widest selection of boba tea in Cincinnati, as well as white, black, green and oolong teas, Essencha Tea House is a tea lover's paradise. The store also offers kits, so you can make your own boba or loose-leaf tea at home. Order carry out online or through DoorDash.

Central Perc European Café in Dayton
For a taste of Europe without leaving Ohio, head to Central Perc European Café in Dayton. Owners Mike and Rose Morgan grew up in the Northwest of England before friends persuaded them to open a shop in Ohio. Among the various tea flavors they offer, the shop also offers a traditional afternoon tea, complete with finger sandwiches, small pastries, cream scones and a pot of tea.
Austen & Company in Columbus
Established just last year, Austen & Company prides itself on its offerings of tea, coffee, desserts, books, cocktails, beer, art and community. The store is offering phone ordering for contactless in-store or curbside pickup. Call 614-725-1333 to place your order.
Bonus: In celebration of National Hot Tea Month, a cup of hot tea at this Merion Village spot will be $1.50 (from Jan. 2-31).
