There's no shortage of holiday tradition here in Ohio. Christmas movie sets, entire villages of Nutcrackers, real-life winter wonderlands and so much more. When you stop by these festive attractions, you'll make joyful memories at the best holiday spots Ohio has to offer.

Castle Noel in Medina 

Penned as "America’s Largest Year-Round Indoor Christmas Entertainment Attraction," Castle Noel teeming with excitement and the spirit of the holiday season. Housing the world's largest private collection of Hollywood Christmas movie props, costumes and more – you're sure to feel as if you're on a Christmas movie set. Scope out treasures from dozens of Christmas movies, including The Grinch, Elf, and The Santa Clause.

A Christmas Story House in Cleveland 

Relive scenes from this treasured movie as you tour the home from the "You'll shoot your eye out!" classic: A Christmas Story. Located in Cleveland, A Christmas Story House has become a cherished holiday tradition. You too, can decode a secret message in the upstairs bathroom, or see if you can climb under the sink just like little brother Randy. After visiting the house, be sure to swing by the museum located right across the street where you'll find more movie memorabilia – and the opportunity to buy your very own leg lamp.

Steubenville Nutcracker Village & Advent Market

Walk through a real-life Winter Wonderland at Steubenville Nutcracker Village! Offering over 180 life-size Nutcrackers, each has been hand-painted and specially designed for the season. Meet traditional characters ranging from the Nutcracker Ballet and the Wizard of Oz to Scrooge and Sherlock Holmes. You'll find even more fun at the Advent Market teeming with homemade gifts, entertainment and food. Don't leave without stopping by The Christmas Wonderland, where you can write letters to Santa and browse more holiday goods at the gift shop!

North Pole Experience at the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad in Summit County 

Get ready for a train ride through scenic Cuyahoga Valley National Park as CVSR takes you on a journey to the North Pole. But before you board, be sure to write your letter to Santa. When you reach the end of the line, you'll be able to hand deliver your letter to the North Pole mailbox! 

Dickens Victorian Village in Cambridge 

Literary fans will love Dickens Victorian Village in Cambridge. Stroll or drive along more than 90 Victorian-era scenes scattered along the historic downtown's main roadway.

A Storybook Christmas in Zanesville 

Get into the holiday spirit with A Storybook Christmas, during which local businesses and attractions in Zanesville, New Concord and Dresden decorate according to their favorite holiday storybooks

Huntington Holiday Train at Columbus Metropolitan Library

For more than 50 years, this display at Sylvania's Tam-O-Shanter has been brining the holiday spirit to families. With dozens of displays, you'll feel like you're walking through a magical winter wonderland. 

A Carillon Christmas at Carillon Historical Park in Dayton

Head to Dayton to experience the city's holiday tradition, A Carillon Christmas at Carillon Historical Park. This one-of-a-kind experience includes everything from carolers, train rides, a puppet show, wagon rides, Candy Cane Slopes, museum store shopping, Carillon Brewing Company and more.

Historic Clifton Mill 

Don't miss the Legendary Lights of Historic Clifton Mill, which has dazzled visitors for over 30 years. With more than 3 million lights (including a must-see, 100-foot waterfall of lights),  this holiday spot has it all. And you can't leave without purchasing some freshly made pancake mix or flour for your holiday baking!
