Ohio has some great routes perfect for cruising on your motorcycle. Three Rivers Ride in Coshocton County highlights the best twists, turns and beautiful landscapes in the area. The route is comprised of two large loops, with 105 miles of "biker-friendly" paved roads.
Both loops begin in Historic Roscoe Village, pick up a map at the Coshocton Supply Company, at several locations throughout the village or download the map to your mobile phone as cell reception is limited in some locations along the route. This collection of roads is perfect for cruising with sweeping curves, open stretches and a few challenging roads with sharp twists and turns.
We spent the day exploring the roads of the Three Rivers Ride on our Harley Davidson Ultra Limited. We began our day in Historic Roscoe Village, then completed the first loop which gave us a brief tour of West Lafayette, Baltic and New Bedford, then made our way back to Historic Roscoe Village to have lunch at The Warehouse Restaurant. After lunch we cruised along the second loop through Warsaw, Walhonding, Newcastle and West Bedford.
Cruising through Coshocton County, you’ll enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Appalachian Foothills. The scenic roadways will lead you pass rolling hills, sweeping valleys, quaint small towns, lush forests and glacial rock outcroppings. Along the way, you’ll drive through open farmland, pass historic barns and Amish farms. Please be cautious when driving through the countryside as Amish horse and buggies and bicyclists will be sharing the road with you.
There’s plenty of opportunities for a stretch break and to explore the local landmarks. A few landmark highlights along the route are Historic Roscoe Village, Clary Gardens, Helmick Covered Bridge, Gospel Hill Lighthouse, Pearl Valley Cheese chalet (pack a small cooler to keep your cheese purchases cold during the ride) and wineries along the Three Rivers Wine Trail.
